The Defense C Serum from Senté is a high-performance antioxidant serum built around the brand's patented HSA Technology (Heparan Sulfate Analog) and 20% THD Ascorbate, a stable, oil-soluble form of vitamin C (tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate). Unlike traditional L-ascorbic acid formulas, which oxidise quickly and can irritate reactive skin, THD Ascorbate penetrates deeply, resists breakdown, and delivers brightening and collagen-supporting benefits without the stinging or redness that often accompanies vitamin C serums. A targeted antioxidant blend (AOX) works alongside these two actives to defend skin against multiple sources of oxidative stress, including free radical damage, UV exposure, advanced glycation end products (AGEs) and DNA damage.
